Lose Something Different

For my DSD, I chose to lose the spark of life, the will to live, and the reason to get up in the morning. I don’t know the word for it, but you understand. It’s a little depressing. The goal of this class is to be the most creative, which often leads to wild, crazy, and funny ideas. This isn’t a funny topic, so I was afraid to make a DSD on it, but I had the creative idea to show this inward, mental, loss by altering the outward colors of the video, like the picture lesson on Friday. Without saying I lost that spark, I showed it by losing colors in the video.

Because I don’t really want to make sad stories, I thought of a way to make this inspiring. Bowman asked us what’s the opposite of loss- how would I find the spark of life again? I decided to represent this inward solution with a kaleidoscope- looking at things differently.
